COURSE DESCRIPTION

Michelle MacCubbin has been a therapist since 2009, a massage instructor since 2011 and a CEU instructor since 2022. She specializes in multidisciplinary massage incorporating several different modalities. She realized there was a massive lack of training when addressing the anterior neck muscles. Often thought of as an endangerment site, Michelle will show you how to work the anterior muscles with confidence.

In this class, we will locate and palpate the SCM, Scalenes, Upper trapezius, hyoid muscles and face muscles such as the masseter, mentalis, zygomaticus, frontalis, temporalis, etc. You will learn stripping techniques, pin & stretch and cross fiber friction.

We will have a 1 hour lunch break.

Please Bring: Comfortable clothing, sheets / blankets and lotion/cream are required. You DO NOT need to bring a massage table, we have plenty.

Please use the name you would like on your certificate when registering. Please use the email you would like event notifications sent to.
