Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, non-invasive form of bodywork focusing on the craniosacral system. It involves the application of light pressure to the bones and tissues to release tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. By addressing restrictions in the craniosacral system CST aims to improve the function of the central nervous system, reduce pain and discomfort, and enhance overall health and wellbeing. It is commonly used to treat a variety of conditions, including headaches, chronic pain, stress and tension-related disorders, and PTSD.
In this interactive hands-on BASIC Introductory class, you will learn:
1. Description of the Modality
2. Account of its historical development
3. Benefits & Contraindications
4. Specific techniques for basic training
Please wear comfortable flexible clothing.
Certificates of completion will be issued at the end of the class. Please use the name you want on your certificate when you register.
You Do NOT need to bring a table, we have plenty!
This class will be with current massage students at the WIofCC however only licensed massage therapists will earn continuing education credits.
