Q: Why did you choose to pursue a career in massage therapy?

A: Because I have had my own experiences with chronic pain like fibromyalgia and hashimoto's so I know what it's like to feel trapped in your own body. You can feel like a prisoner to pain and I want to help people ease their suffering.

Q: Why did you choose the Wellness Institute of Chester County for your education?

A: On their website it says “Quality over Quantity: We are not about having the Most Students. We are about educating the Best Students!“

And that was it [what led me to choose them] because I had looked at other schools and I felt like they were trying to sell me a used car. I felt like a number and that it was all about the money and just trying to get seats filled. And this school was different, I saw that on the website and I came to the open house and I was almost in tears at the open house because the energy here just made me feel like this was where I was supposed to be.

Q: What are your plans for after graduation?

A: I want to open up a wellness space in Philadelphia that offers bodywork, massage and yoga. I want to run my own business and have my own space. Maybe not right away but that is my goal.
